About
I'm a retired professional ballet dancer, and prior to that I was a competitive gymnast. I'm currently a physical therapist who specializes in functional manual therapy, taking coursework through the Institute of Physical Art and working toward being a Certified Functional Manual Therapist.
I work in a clinic in downtown San Francisco where we treat the body holistically, getting the body into proper, functional alignment from a mechanical aspect, then re-educating the body on a neuromuscular level to promote efficient initiation, strength and endurance, and finally putting all of the parts together through motor control for optimum posture, movement, and function.
As a dancer I was often injured and spent countless hours in physical therapy, which helped to keep me performing on stage. I would love nothing more than to return that favor to anyone and everyone.
