Assignment 2

Very Short Toes

Wide Metatarsals

High Compressibility in my feet - shrink when not weight baring and also when pointed.

Two feet are different in terms of Toes:

Left foot follows more of an Egyptian pattern with the big toe being the longest and a slight taper down

Right foot the second toe is longer than the big toe following a more Celtic

But overall my first three toes on each foot are about the same length.

I have broken both sesamoid bones on each foot so instead of 2 I have 3. Mild bunions.

My toenails are curved (see picture 2) not flat across which over time I've learned is important for how I get fitting in pointe shoes. I am more prone to toenail bruises because of the curve on how weight is distributed.

In the picture you can see my drained digital synovial cyst (the slightly gray circle area) on the 3rd toe on my right foot. This is not a common place to get these types of cysts. But I am very hypermobile, so my body tends not to follow common patterns.
