Assignment 5

With my low arch, highly compressible feet, with longer second toe, tapered toes, longer toes compared with total length of foot, and significantly wider metatarsal than heel, there are a few matches that would be good possibilities for flexible flat feet with some strength.

Repetto

La Carlotta

This shoe's recommended fit for most, and high customization is the best bet from this brand. The medium shank and medium box should offer the right strength, while the long vamp and wings should support the metatarsal and not break too low on me.

Assignment 4

My Feet:

Toes long compared to short length of foot, which is African in shape, with first two toes of similar length, while other 3 taper down. I have very low, but flexible and stronger arches than when I first went on pointe, so I no longer need the softest shank, I believe a medium will work, and last longer. My metatarsals are probably on the medium size for most pointe shoes. I feel that taking my foot as a whole, my heel is much smaller than the metatarsal area, and I have quite compressible feet.

Shoe 1:

I thought the Bloch Whisper looked like a shoe worth trying. I need the pre-arch, and full sole, (curious about 3/4 shanks, but not sure how that would support me, so I think I'd have to try on a pair to know for sure, so I'll just stick with full sole for…

Assignment 3

I always thought I had a flexible flat foot, this does look more like a normal/neutral medium arch. I have too be careful about pronating, or even overcompensating that and supinating, especially on my left foot. I noticed that my foot is especially flat when standing, yet an arch appears more when weight is not placed on the foot. But my arches are nearly on the floor when standing in flat. This makes it look like they may not be as flat as others' however.

Assignment 3

Looks like medium to high arch but this is my foot so I know its actually on the medium to low side. A tiny bit of pronation but not much. I would say pretty well balanced and proportional overall.

Assignment 2

Type - tapered toes

Shape - Greek, I would even specify an African, with first to toes very similar in length

Width - Narrow

Compression - compresses quite a bit, by an inch

Natural Tendencies - space between 1st & 2nd toes, being very flat, tends to pronate due to such low arches

Assignment 2

Very Short Toes

Wide Metatarsals

High Compressibility in my feet - shrink when not weight baring and also when pointed.

Two feet are different in terms of Toes:

Left foot follows more of an Egyptian pattern with the big toe being the longest and a slight taper down

Right foot the second toe is longer than the big toe following a more Celtic
